Bill Sauers of Dagorlad Caps Great Week at the Plate with MC Player of the Week Honors

Pitchers who faced the Dagorlad Disaster last week were happy to see Bill Sauers in the rear view mirror. The 30-year-old second baseman was dubbed the Mordor Conference Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that produced a .667 on base percentage and a .739 slugging percentage.

Those numbers came, in part, from 3 bases on balls and 2 extra-base hits, to go along with 8 runs batted in and 2 runs scored.

Bill Sauers is hitting .275 this year with 19 home runs and 82 RBI. He also has an OBP of .355 in 148 games played.
