Wilderland wins Hobbit Division for 1st time since 2004!
WILDERLAND - For the first time in a long time, Wargs fans have playoff fever. Wilderland clinched the divisional title with a 9-0 win over Carrock on September 19. Leading the charge this season was a trio of fine pitchers, including 21-game winner, Lintegurth Musiceye (21-4), and 16-game winners Bugrin Spinner (16-12) and Merimac Snowmouth (16-10). Spinner especially came under pressure to perform after inking a $25 million/yr deal in the offseason. After a disastrous May in which he went 0-5 with a 6.08 ERA, most pundits were ready to write off the deal as a fool's gambit. But Bugrin turned things around, going 14-5 after that, to give the team their money's worth.
