SC Player of the Week Goes to *Squishmasher of Rivendell

The Rivendell Royals received word today that third baseman Loopy *Squishmasher was selected Shire Conference Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games ending Sunday. *Squishmasher took full advantage of his plate appearances, putting up an OPS of 1.491 with 4 extra-base hits and 3 free passes.

*Squishmasher has established himself as a solid ballplayer. His numbers are legitimate Tolkien Baseball numbers, and they've gotten him a role on a SGCBL club. But then, most clubs would take a guy hitting .305 with 184 hits, 21 home runs, 82 RBI, and an OBP of .379, wouldn't they?
