SC Gandalf Pitcher Award Winner Announced: Old Forest's Sjors Cheeseslicer Takes Prize
Sjors Cheeseslicer was really special this season. When he was on the mound for Old Forest, there was magic in the ballpark. He started 37 games, logged 301 innings, and conjured up 24 victories with just 9 defeats. Cheeseslicer disposed of 266 batters on strikeouts, walked 48, and rolled up a 2.06 ERA. Opposing batters had a .220 average against him. For this special year, the Shire Conference recognized him as the 2013 Gandalf Pitcher Award winner.
