Old Forest trades Merumli

OLD FOREST - Veteran infielder, Perauman Merumli, is being shipped back to the Mordor Conference where he spent the first 7 years of his career with the Isengard Raiders. Merumli, 33, was traded to the Dunharrow Devils in exchange for minor league reliever, Gimli Brandybuck.

Merumli is a workhorse with a .289 career average in 1,112 games. He signed with the Raiders in 2003 and became a fixture at 3B, playing in over 150 games a season and snagging 2 Legolas Fielder awards. He was named to the All-Star team 3 times between 2008 and 2011.
