Elvand Signs with Raiders

ISENGARD - When Fruron Elvand arrived in Isengard today to greet the media of his new home, nobody questioned the move despite his 36 years. Elvand helped craft a $12,000,000-per-year deal that will run for 3 years. He is generally seen as a veteran presence in the clubhouse and could act as a mentor for many of the younger Raiders players.

His career numbers show Elvand has reached base at a .374 rate, stolen 22 bases, and scored 921 runs. He is currently carrying a .283 batting average with 301 home runs and 947 runs batted in. He also has a .508 slugging percentage.
