Hubbard of Old Forest Gets Feather in His Cap: SC Player of the Week Honors

OLD FOREST - What a week it was for Alrond *Hubbard! The Old Forest third baseman took Shire Conference Player of the Week honors after tearing up the league with a .423 batting average in his recent games. *Hubbard registered 11 hits in 26 at-bats, cracked 3 home runs, drove in 4 runs, and crossed home plate 9 times. It was a great week for him to remember . . . and for enemy pitchers to forget.
