Third Baseman Morag the Shriek of Moria Records .393 Average, Selected Shire Conference Player of the Week

MORIA - Morag *the Shriek made quite a splash in the Shire Conference this past week. The Moria Miners third baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 11 hits--5 for extra bases--in 28 at-bats and rolled up a 1.366 OPS figure. Those strong numbers made hER the logical candidate for SC Player of the Week honors.

For the season, *the Shriek is hitting at a .337 clip with 8 home runs, 24 RBI, and 19 runs scored. She has 34 hits, 7 walks, and a .387 on base percentage.
