Iggette Responds to Rumors

via Bywater Press

BYWATER - We have been made aware of rumours suggesting that Sir Kenneth has some rather old fashioned opinions of female players. Whilst he will be the first to admit to a somewhat historic approach to life he has asked us to firmly deny accusations of treating the female players at Bywater any differently to the males; in particular he wishes it known that he strictly enforces rules forbidding any kind of lewd behaviour on Bounder time and property.

With this in mind suggestions that players have been hired for "personal" reasons would be laughable were the allegations not so serious. Sir Ken refuses to let recent signing Eucalypta talk directly to the press until he is certain the juvenile behaviour has come to an end and she can face the press without being subjected to crude innuendo about the trade and Sir Ken "chasing the Pink" and asking how she'll "perform under [Sir Ken]".

Sir Ken wrote:
"There will always be rumours in this game, and I'm happy to just ignore them, however this latest round desrve comment. Eucalypta was a little surprised at her reason move and we're doing all we can to help her settle in Bywater; she simply doesn't need the press fostering these pathertic rumours during this time, she's only a girl after all."
