Darkwings First Baseman Inadora Tovar Selected MC Player of the Week

RAVENHILL - Inadora Tovar went on a hitting spree last week against Mordor Conference pitchers and today copped the Player of the Week award. The Ravenhill Darkwings first baseman peppered the opposition for 14 hits in 26 at-bats with 3 runs batted in and 6 runs scored. In the 7 games she played, she hit .538 with an on base percentage of .586.

Tovar doesn't take anything for granted. She knows that it was hard work, dedication and discipline that got her here and it will be more of the same that keeps her here. That's why it's satisfying to be contributing on a consistent basis at this level. She has rung up 47 hits and is hitting .353 this season. She has slapped out 5 doubles and 1 home runs, driven in 10 runs, and scored 20 times. She has also picked up 14 free passes, stolen 8 bases, and compiled a .415 OBP.
