Drowslobberer is Untouchable, Tosses a No-Hitter

LOTHLORIEN - Gragar Drowslobberer of the Lothlorien Lumberjacks was certainly the King of the Hill on May 21 in the Tolkien Baseball. He really did a number on the Numenor Kings, and that number was zero--how many hits he gave up.

"I can't believe I got a no-hitter!" said an exuberant Drowslobberer after the game. "That is the last thing you think about when you go out to the mound. You just want to win the game. The toughest part was the last couple of innings. Everybody in the ballpark knows you have a no-hitter, including me. That was the hard part, keeping your poise and concentration while your heart is pounding."

Drowslobberer recorded 8 strikeouts and 4 bases on balls in his sensational performance.

So far this year Drowslobberer has made 11 starts, tossed 80.2 innings, struck out 64 batters, and walked 27. His record is 8-2 with a 1.56 ERA. He has limited opposing batters to a .188 BA.
