Roth of Minas Tirith Raps SC Pitchers at Torrid .438 Pace, Takes Player of the Week Award
MINAS TIRITH - Beleg Roth has been swinging the bat like a lethal weapon of late. After punching across 9 RBI last week and slugging his way to a 1.205 OPS figure in last week's games, the Minas Tirith Titans shortstop was voted the Shire Conference Player of the Week. Roth drilled 14 hits, 5 of which went for extra bases, including 2 home runs.
To date, Roth has accumulated 58 hits in 208 at-bats for a .279 average, and has posted an OBP of .346 for the current campaign. He has also slammed 8 home runs, walked 19 times, scored 31 runs, and driven in 32 runs.
