Dagorlad Ace Traded to Fairies

DAGORLAD - With their season seemingly on the rocks, Disaster management has decided to retool for the future. To that end, Dagorlad traded their ace pitcher, Matthew Reade, to the Bucklebury Fairies in exchange for a rookie starter and a 1st round draft pick.

Reade, 31, the only pitcher in league history to throw a perfect game, is currently laboring under a lack of run support, with a 2.44 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 10-of-11 Quality Starts, but only a 4-3 record. He will be returning to the team that drafted him in the 2nd round in 2006 and trying to boost a sagging Bucklebury starting rotation. The Fairies are at or near the top of the Shire Conference in every offensive category, but their starters' ERA is only 4.67 (10th in the Conference).

Rookie starter and 1st round pick in 2011, Tolir Celorfilad, goes to the Disaster. Also included in the deal was an outfielder swap, with 19-year-old Bernal Sova going to the Fairies in exchange for Skradreg the Drooler, 33.
