Most Recent Shire Conference Pitcher of the Month Award Goes to Old Forest's Chubb

OLD FOREST - In May Old Forest starter Frodo Chubb mesmerized hitters with an array of effective pitches. The newly anointed Pitcher of the Month unleashed some serious firepower, going 5-0 in 6 games started in that time. Chubb held batters at bay, allowing just 6.12 hits per 9 innings pitched, fanning 53, and allowing only 3 home runs.

This season Chubb has crafted a 8-2 mark with a 2.08 ERA in 95.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .214 against him, and he has 94 strikeouts.
