Royal Investigative Agents warn banks of possible scam

via Dagorlad Daily News

DAGORLAD - Royal auditors and banking investigators of Lothlorien have released a warning to all banks operating in Middle Earth. Months of investigation have led to the identification of certain well-known individuals in a rather elaborate embezzlement scheme that was an attempt to avoid paying taxes to the appropriate agencies.

"We're not releasing any further information so that we don't tip off any one, but we do feel it is our duty to warn the populace of such schemes. We're asking people to carefully count their pieces of gold, silver, copper, and tin."

Reports of multi-tiered marketing were taken apart last year through the same offices, but only after several thousand peasants had been fleeced.

"No one wants that to happen again," said Rizzo Ratso, Second Memorial Bank of Dagorld president.
