Nusin Orehead to miss 7-8 months
MINAS MORGUL - Watching Nusin Orehead getting helped off the field today at Blackfield Park, fans of the Minas Morgul Slayers feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the reliever will miss 7-8 months with a torn rotator cuff muscle. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Orehead suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Stars.
To date this year Orehead has won 2 and lost 0 with a 3.09 ERA, no saves and 37 strikeouts in 30 games.
