Fyrith Red-Hot, SC Player of the Week

Shire Conference pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Gollilmer Fyrith of the Bree Cheese out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week.

The 30-year-old first baseman boasted a .429 average with 5 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Fyrith went 9-21 for the week.

For 2014 Fyrith is batting .275 with 32 home runs and getting on base at a .366 pace. His totals include 71 RBIs, 36 walks and 53 runs scored. He has played in 74 games.
