SC Selects Reade July's Best Starter

Despite the number of years he's been in the league, Matthew Reade still gets excited when he puts together a quality stretch like he had in July. The 31-year-old starter for Bucklebury was named Shire Conference Pitcher of the Month earlier today.

He collected 6 wins and no losses with 45 strikeouts in his 7 starts, putting up a fine 1.24 ERA in 51 innings of work.

This season Reade has 13 wins and 4 losses and a 2.77 ERA.
