Super Swinger Snags MC Player of the Week

Ravenhill Darkwings shortstop Nienor *Silverspike walked away with the Mordor Conference Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days.

"The Darkwings fans are really behind me right now," said the 24-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better."

*Silverspike batted .481 (13-27) with 1 home run and 5 RBIs this week on her way to the award.

In her 2014 season totals, *Silverspike has posted these current numbers: 7 home runs, .309 BA, .416 OBP, 38 RBIs and 66 runs scored.
