SC Announces Best Batter Award

August's outstanding offensive player in the Shire Conference has been picked and the honor goes to the Bucklebury hitting machine Samwise Peatfingers.

He won the award by hitting .343, blasting 8 home runs, knocking in 19 runs and scoring 21 times.

Peatfingers is batting .276 with 30 home runs and 74 RBIs this season. He has walked 61 times, scored 84 runs and put up a .362 on-base percentage.
