Torrid August Gets *Balrog Slayer MC #1 Batter Trophy

Buffy *Balrog Slayer of the Misty Mountain Hops was named the Mordor Conference's best batter in August. She knocked the tar out of the ball all month long.

Here's what her stats sheet looked like for the month:

119 AB, 47 H, .395 BA, 10 HR, 29 RBI, 17 R, 7 BB, .429 OBP.

So far this year *Balrog Slayer is batting .341 with 48 home runs, 124 RBIs and 92 runs scored. She has 193 hits in 566 at-bats, 28 walks and a .369 OBP.
