Bounders Bouncing

BYWATER - Celebrations rang out in Bywater last night at the Bounders won their division, much like MESN shockingly predicted. For a club that hasn't finished better than second previously, the Bounders shocked many by taking the title with over two weeks to go to the playoffs.

Bywater started the season looking quite weak but managed to bring in some top talent like Eucalypta the Pink and Denaigol Denaihir to provide the solid support previously lacking. But despite their apparent dominant position just now there are questions about whether the team are in as good shape as they seem. Many in the team are young, and it's four years since the Bounders played in October so it'll be a new experience for many players.

Looking ahead to the playoffs the Bounders are aware of the problems ahead. "Let's not mince our words," said Sir Ken. "We may not know who we'll face in the playoffs but we know it won't be easy." An understatement indeed; the Bounders victorious record is currently equal to the mighty Mirkwood who are leading the wildcard chase. However the mood is optimisitic in Bywater. "In the past we've managed to win the Fellowship from the wildcard spot, we've gone one better in the division so there's no reason why we can't go further in the playoffs too," exclaimed an excited Tinond. "People can say what they like about how good they think we are, we know we're good and we believe we're good enough to go all the way."
