SC Trophy Goes to Clubwalker of Bucklebury

With some great hand-eye coordination and a sweet, compact swing, Bucklebury Fairies catcher Boinar Clubwalker took the Shire Conference by storm this past week to take the latest Player of the Week honors.

"The ball was looking like a beach ball all week," a happy Clubwalker said to SION reporters. "When it's that big, it doesn't matter where they throw it -- I can hit it anywhere."

The 26-year-old catcher hit .500 (13-26) last week with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

This season Clubwalker is swinging the bat at a .259 pace. He has hit 23 home runs and scored 75 times while driving in 81. His on-base percentage is .343, and he has played in 134 games.
