Familiar veterans mixing with youth in Dunharrow camp
DUNHARROW - Fans of Dunharrow might recognize at few familiar faces around Spring Training and, more than likely, scratch their heads at a few names.
Coming back for his second tour of duty with Dunharrow is Bofur Stoneteeth, traded at the deadline along with his cousin Boli for Ciurk Badgerpoker.
"We hated to part with [Bofur] Stoneteeth in the first place," said Dunharrow GM jmr, "so we were thrilled to be able to bring him back. His veteran presence will be a great influence on all our young kids." Stoneteeth enjoyed is best season with Dunharrow in 2012, making the All-Star team in a season where he managed to leg out 17 triples.
Joining Stoneteeth will be veteran backup outfielder Elrildur Elriamli who also enjoyed a solid season with Dunharrow in 2013. Elriamli is expected to serve as a backup to Dunharrows young prospects, James Biehl and Effi Frodi, who are expected to come into their own during the 2015 season.
"We've made lots of changes this offseason," said jmr. "However, as a result, I think we've got a great mix of youth and veterans allowing us to compete now and still build for the future."
