*Ripsnorter Suffers Major Injury, Career Over
WILDERLAND - Elvyra *Ripsnorter's baseball career was pronounced over today, the result of a horrible collision that has led to concerns for the 27-year-old's future health. In the top of the 1st in a game against Bywater, Bounders outfielder Denaigol 'Hitman' Denaihir hit a slow roller back to the mound that Warg starter, Lintegurth Musiceye had trouble fielding. When Musiceye finally got a handle on it, he instinctively threw to second base to try to get the lead runner. By that time the runner, Ugbag Blacktooth, was on top of *Ripsnorter who was covering the bag. The sound of the bone-crunching collision between the large orc catcher and the wirey shortstop could be heard throughout the stadium. *Ripsnorter was taken off the field unconscious. Further tests revealed a severe concussion, and doctors are concerned that she has permanent blurred vision. It will be determined at a later date whether or not she will need surgery.
