Mariner Suffers Major Injury, Career Over

MORIA - The expression on her face said it all when center fielder Lelyan Mariner was injured in a game against Wilderland. You could tell that this was no minor injury. Mariner was examined quickly by the team doctor and immediately rushed to the local hospital. After several tests, the diagnosis was a fractured skull, and in this case, it means her career is over.

The Moria Miners issued the following statement:

"It is with great sadness to see Lelyan leave the game so soon. She was a great competitor and teammate, and we are sure she will stick around in some capacity with our team."
