Lothlorien Starting Pitcher Injured
LOTHLORIEN - The Lothlorien Lumberjacks were dealt a serious blow when the team learned that Gimli Cloudskin was likely to be out for 8 weeks after he injured himself throwing a pitch in the April 7 game against the Weathertop Witch Kings. A round of tests by the team doctors revealed the injury to be a damaged meniscus (knee). Upon learning of their diagnosis, the Lothlorien manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries, they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Gimli is back in action."
