Miller Injured, Out of Lineup 7-8 Weeks

DEAD MARSHES - It took the Dead Marshes team doctor a while to realize it, but second baseman Raymond Miller won't simply play through his damaged meniscus (knee), after he got hurt throwing the ball in the April 12 Kings-Uruk-hai game. At first, it looked like Miller might be back as early as tomorrow, but now it looks like the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 7-8 weeks. A spokesman for the club described the loss of Miller as a blow, but was confident that he'd be back soon.

In his season totals Miller has 1 home run and a .273 batting average.
