200 Victories for Mirkwood's Goriborn

MIRKWOOD - It was a great day for Gwelf Goriborn today at Woodland Field -- He notched victory number 200 to become the first pitcher in the exclusive 200 Club. The Mirkwood ace stopped the Minas Tirith Titans 7-2 on May 22, yielding 6 hits and numbering 3 strikeouts and no walks in his milestone game.

"It's great to be able to do it at home in front of the fans," Goriborn said. "I was starting to feel like it wasn't gonna happen."

His career totals show Goriborn has a 200-88 won-lost record with a 3.02 ERA.
