Sarukh *the Indefatiguable Goes Deep 3 Times!
DEAD MARSHES - It's an event that only happens once every 450 games -- a player hits three homers in a game.
It happened at Uruk-hai Field on May 29 when Sarukh *the Indefatiguable of the Dead Marshes Uruk-hai unloaded three times in a game against the Numenor Kings.
He got his name in the league record book, but his team didn't get the win. The Kings bumped off the Uruk-hai by a score of 8-6.
"We were lucky to win today," said the Numenor skipper, "You can't give up that many home runs and expect to win on a regular basis."
*the Indefatiguable spoke to the writers in the postgame press room with mixed feelings, "I'm happy to hit three homers and get my name in the record books, but a little sad because we lost."
Remarking on his big ballgame, he said, "I guess you could say I was a good guesser today...especially on the last one...I was ahead in the count, so I got set for a certain pitch...and got it...all of it."
For the game the Dead Marshes center fielder had 4 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 4 times and drove in 4.
S. *the Indefatiguable hit a solo-shot off S. Arborna in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off S. Arborna in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off A. Arwima in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Looking at his 2015 season stats, *the Indefatiguable has compiled a .332 batting average in 52 games with a .360 on-base percentage while hitting 19 home runs and driving in 44 runs.
