Big Day for Faromli! Belts 3 Over the Wall!
CARROCK - Carrock bombardier Galaigast Faromli set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence in a 15-6 win over the Lake Town Archers on June 1.
It was a powerful performance that should keep the fans at Old League Park buzzing for days.
He spoke to the writers in the postgame press room and said, "I guess you could say I was a good guesser today...especially on the last one...I was ahead in the count, so I got set for a certain pitch...and got it...all of it."
For the game the Carrock first baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 9 and scored 3 runs.
G. Faromli flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off T. Beardstroker in the 5th, walked in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off F. Farauma in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off D. Ratclaw in the 9th.
So far this season Faromli is hitting .209 with 11 home runs.
