Numenor Reliever Hurt
NUMENOR - After the end of the June 17 game between Numenor and Dagorlad, David Mejias skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, the Kings had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The reliever will miss at least 7-8 months with a fractured elbow.
In 2015, Mejias has made 24 games, recorded no saves, and compiled a 0-2 won-lost mark and a 10.22 ERA. In pitching 24.2 innings, he has totaled 20 strikeouts and 20 walks.
