Lake Town's Badgerpoker Collects June Batting Honor

The Shire Conference has made it official -- Ciurk Badgerpoker is the winner of the Batter of the Month trophy. In June the Lake Town center fielder was sensational with a .352 batting average, 6 home runs and 12 RBIs. Badgerpoker also had 18 walks, posted a .458 on-base percentage and scored 29 times.

To date, Badgerpoker has accumulated 67 hits in 227 at-bats for a .295 average. He has posted an OBP of .402, 12 home runs, 39 walks, scored 46 runs and driven in 30 runs.
