Fairies and Royals Agree to Swap

BUCKLEBURY - Officials for the Bucklebury Fairies confirmed that they have traded 32-year old left fielder Samwise Peatfingers to the Rivendell Royals. In return, the Fairies will receive 20-year old minor league left fielder Voirin Tunnelmaker, 22-year old minor league third baseman Gorilf Badgermangler, 31-year old right fielder Gwogast Gorund, 34-year old starting pitcher Robert Tookes and a 2nd round draft pick.

Peatfingers has a .272 average and a .339 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 86 hits in 316 at-bats, 25 home runs and driven in 69 runs.

This year Tookes has a 3-3 record with a 5.06 ERA in 2 starts.
