Libur Oathbane May Never Play Again
BREE - The expression on his face said it all when second baseman Libur Oathbane was injured in a game against Old Forest. You could tell that this was no minor injury. Oathbane was examined quickly by the team doctor and immediately rushed to the local hospital. After several tests, the diagnosis was fractured knee, and in this case, it means his career is over.
The Bree Cheese issued the following statement:
"It is with great sadness to see Libur leave the game so soon. He was a great competitor and teammate and we are sure he will stick around in some capacity with our team."
This season Oathbane has hit 4 home runs and posted a .295 batting average.
