Fairies and Raiders Agree to Deal

BUCKLEBURY - Officials for the Bucklebury Fairies confirmed that they have traded 32-year old starting pitcher Matthew Reade to the Isengard Raiders. In return, the Fairies will receive 20-year old minor league starting pitcher Merin Chiselsnapper.

Reade has made 19 starts this season, posting 10 wins and 6 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .243 against him and he has 107 strikeouts in 136 innings with a 2.98 ERA.
