2000 Hits for Eliondel

GREY HAVENS - The day belonged to Isszava Eliondel of the Grey Havens Stars as she became the latest player to reach the 2000-hit plateau. She did it in Grey Havens's 6-1 win over Dol Guldur.
"It's a moment I'll never forget," said Eliondel after the game, "2000 hits is a lot. It puts you in a very select group. I never expected to be around long enough to reach a milestone like this."

She finished the day with 2 hits in 4 at-bats.

A check of her lifetime stats shows Eliondel has a career .289 average with 2000 hits, 306 doubles, 78 triples, 346 home runs and 1147 RBIs. To date she has scored 1161 runs, walked 534 times and stolen 393 bases.
