Imrilron Ends Speculation, To Retire

MINAS MORGUL - Minas Morgul Slayers left fielder Isilborn Imrilron will retire at the end of the season, according to reports out of team headquarters. Imrilron, 39, has been considering retirement since last season sources say, though he has declined to speak publicly about retirement.

"Isilborn still likes baseball," one source said, "He wants to play, but he also knows he's getting up in age and the skills are not what he wants them to be. He says it's physically getting harder to go out there every day. That's why he's hanging up his spikes."

Imrilron has played in 1857 games with a .320 career batting average. Among his 2226 hits are 332 doubles, 22 triples and 526 home runs. He also has scored 1329 runs, walked 792 times, stolen 18 bases and driven in 1431 runs.
