Scarlett *II Twirls No-Hitter Against Dagorlad

BUCKLEBURY - The Bucklebury Fairies and their fans had a lot to celebrate on August 8 as 30-year-old hurler Scarlett *II no-hit the Dagorlad Disaster 2-0 at The Fairie Dome becoming one of the few pithcers to have tossed more than one.

"She mixed her pitches well, hit her spots, and got some help from above," said her pitching coach. "Scarlett really took it to another level today."

On her record-setting day *II had 10 strikeouts and 2 walks.

Her manager added, "I don't remember a better pitched game. And how about our defense, too. We played some good "D" today."

To date this year, *II shows a 10-11 record, 26 starts, 179.1 innings, 184 strikeouts and a 4.42 ERA.
