MC's Top Rookie Proclaimed
Sarukh *the Indefatiguable's debut season was more than he had ever dreamed. Today the Mordor Conference saluted him as the 2015 Frodo Rookie Award winner.
"I could hardly believe it," he told the press. "To make the team and be a regular was what I was hoping for during spring training. And now to get this award, this has been a very special season."
*the Indefatiguable earned it with some solid numbers. During the regular season, the Dead Marshes left fielder rang up an impressive .298 average in 154 games with 182 hits in 610 at-bats, 43 home runs, 121 RBIs and 89 runs scored. In addition *the Indefatiguable added 36 walks to compile his .337 on-base percentage.
This weekend the SION Baseball Writers Association will present the trophy to *the Indefatiguable for being the MC's best rookie. He will receive it at its annual awards dinner.
