Slayers announce lower ticket prices
MINAS MORGUL - Citing waning/stagnated attendance figures despite fielding an elite ball club the last few years, the team announced that the average ticket price will drop by $2 this coming season to $9.
Previously, ticket prices were $11 on average. They stayed at this level the last few years and attendance figures dropped to about 45,000 per night and stayed around that level or dropped slightly since, despite a team winning an average of about 105 games over the same span.
"Hopefully, this will rejuvenate interest in the team and get the stadium packed and rocking again like it used to be. We used to pack this place and that's why we added the seats. It's time to fill those seats again. People deserve to see this team play." K.L. commented.
The ticket price will go into effect in time for Opening Day.
