End of the road for *Catsquisher

MIRKWOOD - After 16 years of professional baseball, including 14 in the SGCBL, Mohair *Catsquisher has decided to hang up his spikes. The 36 year old infielder for the Mirkwood Marauders bid a tearful farewell to his teammates today, giving the fans one more glipse of his classic, quiet manner.

Over his career the five-time All-Star won numerous awards, starting with the 2004 Frodo Rookie Award and ending with his 7th Legolas Fielder Award in 2014. He won the Legolas at shortstop 3 times and at second and third base twice each. *Catsquisher finished with 2145 hits, 284 doubles, 119 HR, 896 RBI, 316 SB and a .318 career batting average.
