Merry Fellows Get Shutout Win Over Bounders

OLD FOREST - In an outstanding mound performance on April 22, Frodo Chubb of the Old Forest Merry Fellows scuttled the Bywater Bounders 9-0 on a 1-hit shutout, ringing up 14 strikeouts and giving up 1 walk.

"He's got great stuff and good movement," the Bywater manager said after the game.

"He threw a lot of breaking balls. He made adjustments. We just couldn't figure him out today."

In 5 starts this season Chubb has chalked up a 2-1 record and a 2.27 ERA.
