Palafox On Fire! 5-7 for Rivendell!

RIVENDELL - It was a great day for him at Royals Stadium, but not a good day for his team. Michale Palafox of the Royals was unstoppable in the 8-7 loss to the Mirkwood Marauders on May 8.

"Boy, I was on the mark today," the Rivendell left fielder said after the game. "All I had to do was swing, and I connected. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-7 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will. Losing the game is disappointing, but my hits at least gave us a chance."

M. Palafox doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th and grounded out in the 13th.

So far this season Palafox is hitting .246 with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 28 hits in 114 at-bats and a .271 OBP.
