Minas Tirith Center Fielder Week's Best in SC

Phaiar Gàndir has been in a real groove lately. The 26-year-old Minas Tirith Titans center fielder nabbed Shire Conference Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week.

Gàndir's hot streak featured 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs, 8 runs scored and a .435 average.

This season Gàndir has hit at a .275 clip with 35 RBIs, 9 home runs and 27 runs scored. He has played in 32 games.
