Dejath "Taco" Belarà was the league's first expert closer. Between 2003 and 2011, he was a dominant force out of the Cheese bullpen. In fact, the only season in which he had less than 25 saves was in 2010 when his eventual successor, Gollaiborn Fionduil, took over most of the closing duties. Belarà leads all relievers with 309 career saves, and he is one of only two players with 300.
