Star of the Week Named in SC

The Rivendell Royals received word today that third baseman Petunia Gamgee was selected Shire Conference Player of the Week for her stellar performance in last week's games.

Gamgee took full advantage of all 22 plate appearances last week as she hit .563 with 9 hits, 2 home runs, 2 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

Thus far in 2016 Gamgee is hitting .230 with 7 home runs, 31 RBIs, 33 runs scored and has compiled a .334 OBP.
