Gamaiborn Reaches 400 Mark

CARROCK - Carrock Bears slugging first baseman Gandaugrin Gamaiborn swatted his way to the 400 home run mark June 27 as the Bears fell to the Erebor 3-2.

For his part, Gamaiborn chipped in 1 run batted in, scored 1 run and collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, but it was not enough to turn the tide.

"It was a special day for Gandaugrin," the team publicist said afterward, "He was disappointed at the result, but everyone was all smiles as he crossed home plate. We're proud of him."

In his career Gamaiborn has played in 1939 games, totaled 1647 hits, 206 doubles, 55 triples and 400 homers. He has hit .236 with 1098 RBIs and scored 1156 times.
