Misty Mountain Shortstop Picked MC Player of the Week

Misty Mountain Hops shortstop Moli Willowbottom had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Mordor Conference named him Player of the Week.

Willowbottom banged out 13 hits in 23 at-bats on the way to a .565 batting average. He also racked up 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

This season Willowbottom has hit at a .284 clip with 29 RBIs, 4 home runs and 32 runs scored. He has played in 80 games.
