Cloudskin collects 3,000th K

LOTHLORIEN - With a 6-strikeout performance, albeit in a losing cause, Gimli Cloudskin became just the 2nd pitcher in league history to reach the 3,000 strikeout mark. Cloudskin, 34, has been a strikeout machine ever since arriving at Gondor to play for the Lumberjacks' earlier incarnation, the Condors, in 2004 and despite a nagging series of injuries that caused him to miss large chunks of 3 seasons. He holds the Mordor Conference record for strikeouts in a season, fanning 332 batters in 2010.

This year Cloudskin is 9-5 with a 2.75 ERA in 19 starts. He has struck out 141 and walked just 20.
